HSL donates ultrasound scanning machine to hospital
Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has donated an advanced ultrasound scanning machine with four probes to Philadelphia Leprosy Hospital, Salur, Parvathipuram Manyam district (an aspirational district) in Andhra Pradesh, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has donated an advanced ultrasound scanning machine with four probes to Philadelphia Leprosy Hospital, Salur, Parvathipuram Manyam district (an aspirational district) in Andhra Pradesh, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
This contribution will enhance diagnostic facilities and improve healthcare services for the local community, particularly benefiting underprivileged sections of society.

has bagged two prestigious awards at the 5th PSU Transformation Annual Awards, held in New Delhi, recognising its innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
HSL secured the gold distinction under the Innovation impact award category for “Innovative In-House Modification of Die Set for Corrugation of Bulkheads” and the silver distinction under the digital dynamo award category for “Digitalization of Steel Cut Pieces Segregation Using QR Barcoding.”
The awards were received by N. Ashok Kumar, Chief General Manager (Production) and P. Naresh Ravi Kumar, Manager (Hull Systems) on behalf of HSL. The shipyard remains committed to driving innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence across its shipbuilding and repair operations, a spokesperson said.
